Letti in Camera – La Fiera: New Photography Book Fair Launches in Turin

Letti in Camera – La Fiera, a new fair focusing on contemporary photographic publishing, will launch in Turin from October 10 to 12, 2025. The event, organized by CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, will be held in the museum's Gymnasium and courtyard at Via delle Rosine 18, with no admission fee. Curated by Giulia Ninotta, this fair builds on the Letti in Camera series initiated in March 2025, which sought to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue between photography and contemporary art through discussions and book launches. The inaugural edition will showcase twelve independent publishers, including Cesura publishing, Emergenze Pub, and Witty Books. Additionally, the program will feature talks and presentations on the contemporary photobook's formats and its narrative significance. A preview on October 9 will introduce Standard ISO 29991. Tesauro di ecologia bambina, an image education initiative by Rohrof and curated by Shibboleth. Ninotta highlighted that Turin, known for its photography scene, has historically lacked a dedicated fair, and this inaugural edition aims to provide a platform for exploring magazines, fanzines, and photobooks while connecting with creators.
