Letizia Prestipino's Memory Landscapes at Sebino's IN/FORM

exhibition · 2026-04-29

Letizia Prestipino has created 'Colors of Memory. Back from Berlin' for IN/FORM, a project redefining spaces at Sebino's headquarters. The work originates from a personal experience: an alpine dawn seen from a plane landing at Orio al Serio. The installation features a custom red RAL 3000 shelf, echoing Sebino's fire safety systems, displaying paintings front and back. Works from the 'Colors of Memory' and 'Open Field' series are included, the latter using repurposed screen-printing frames. Some paintings incorporate fragments of Sebino's fire suppression systems, merging industrial infrastructure with atmospheric landscape. The tripartite structure juxtaposes two large side works with a central quadriglia of smaller pieces, exploring memory, material reuse, and the dialogue between art and industry.
