Letizia Cariello, born in Copparo in 1965, presents 'Il tuo cielo è verde' at the Filatoio di Caraglio. The exhibition opens in the courtyard with a monumental golden cage, 'Thinkerbell', resting on a Persian carpet, accompanied by the opening aria of Bach's Goldberg Variations. The show features site-specific installations across each room, incorporating ongoing series. A red thread—both literal and symbolic—unites the works with the site's history as a former silk mill. Cariello's 'Calendari' series, with sequences of numbers and letters, meditate on cyclical time. The closing video, 'Il tuo cielo è verde', shows a green wheat field near Casale Monferrato, filmed during lockdown, connecting to Caraglio's past mulberry and hemp cultivation. Themes of invisible materials, time, and boundaries permeate the exhibition, with embroidery and weaving linking the artist's practice to the mill's former female workers.
