Leonardo da Vinci pop-up show debuts at Milan's Elfo Puccini

A pop-up theater show titled 'Leonardo, che genio! Uno spettacolo pop-up' premiered at the Elfo Puccini theater in Milan, running from March 20-25 and April 4-8, 2018. Created and written by Elena Russo Arman, the production uses a large pop-up book format to narrate the life and works of Leonardo da Vinci. In an interview, Russo Arman explained her choice of Leonardo, citing his complexity, illegitimate birth, and extraordinary career driven by charm, talent, and intelligence. She noted that pop-up books generate wonder, aligning with Leonardo's own theatrical designs and automata meant to amaze audiences. The show is staged in the Sala Bausch, with performances Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 3:30 PM.
