Lenstore’s 360-Degree View Simulates Eye Conditions in Iconic Cityscapes
Lenstore, a contact lens retailer, has launched a digital initiative called Vista a 360 gradi (360-Degree View) to raise awareness about visual impairments. The web platform lets users view seven iconic urban landscapes—Paris, Venice, London, Hong Kong, Dubai, New York, and Sydney—through the perspective of eight eye conditions: normal vision, color blindness, macular degeneration, cataracts, floaters, glaucoma, tunnel vision, and night blindness. When a condition is selected, a window explains its symptoms and causes. Roshni Patel of Lenstore emphasizes the importance of understanding symptoms for early detection and treatment, noting that many conditions can be managed if caught in time by a doctor or optometrist. The project aims to foster empathy and promote eye health prevention.
