Lenovo Establishes AI Innovation Lab at Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hetao Tech Hub
On Wednesday, Lenovo Group, recognized as the largest personal computer manufacturer globally, launched an AI Innovation Lab at the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP) within the Hetao zone. Situated in the Lok Ma Chau area of northern Hong Kong, this 87-hectare facility marks the first public investment by an international tech firm in the Hong Kong section of the cross-border cooperation zone. Ken Wong, president of Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group, emphasized that the lab is designed as an open platform for partners to leverage Lenovo's AI solutions and broaden their international reach. Established in 2017, the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone aims to enhance collaboration between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, facilitating the movement of talent, goods, capital, and data.
