Lemmo Zero e-bike by Zanzotti folds to fit as airplane carry-on luggage

architecture-design · 2026-05-12

Zanzotti, a design studio located in Munich, has introduced the Lemmo Zero, a highly portable foldable e-bike created in collaboration with Lemmo, a micro-mobility firm from Berlin. The bike weighs 10.5kg, along with a 2.3kg removable battery, and features a three-fold design that can be collapsed in under 30 seconds using a magnetic system and quick-release lever, making it small enough for airplane carry-on. With a lightweight laminated carbon fibre frame and Smartpac battery, it offers an electric range of 30 to 40km. The Zero, priced starting at €2,390, embodies Zanzotti's vision of merging innovative design with electric mobility. Founder Christian Zanzotti aimed for a product that could be taken on flights as standard luggage. Established in 2013, the studio is known for its work in automotive, product, and furniture design. The Zero is lighter than the Brompton Electric T-Line (10.5kg vs 12.8kg).
