Leipzig School Painting Debuts in Milan at Antonio Colombo Gallery

The exhibition 'Malerei aus Leipzig' at Galleria Antonio Colombo in Milan marks the first Italian presentation of former students from the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig. Curated by Ivan Quaroni, the show highlights the New Leipzig School's figurative revival after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Featured artists include Rosa Loy, wife of Neo Rauch, with her female figures; Christoph Ruckhäberle's geometric repetitions and futurist references; and landscape painters Peter Busch, Tilo Baumgärtel, and Tom Fabritius.
