Leila Eskandari's 'Whispers of Legends' at Zawyeh Gallery

Leila Eskandari's solo exhibition 'Whispers of Legends' at Zawyeh Gallery in Dubai presents a series of large-scale paintings inspired by Iranian mythology, particularly the 11th-century epic poem Shahnameh by Ferdowsi. The exhibition features works such as 'Redemption' (2024) and 'Unveiling the Shadows' (2023), which blend figures, architecture, and landscapes to explore themes of time, space, and cultural heritage. Eskandari uses vibrant colors and swirling forms to create fluid compositions that challenge conventional architectural constraints. The show runs until 28 July 2024.
