Leica Marks Tokyo Store's 20th Anniversary with Limited Hammertone M-A Camera
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its Ginza flagship store in Tokyo, Leica Camera Japan Co., Ltd. will launch a limited edition of 100 units of the Leica M-A Hammertone analog rangefinder camera on April 25. This special model showcases a medium-gray textured hammer tone metallic finish with black leather, along with an exclusive engraving on the front reading "20 Jahre" (German for "20 Years") and a uniquely engraved body cap. This isn't the first limited release; in 2011, a hammer tone Leica M9 was introduced for the store's fifth anniversary, also limited to 100 units. Additionally, Leica will present an exhibition titled "Timeless Vision" at Leica Gallery Tokyo from April 26 to July 19, showcasing 35 works by 12 previously featured photographers.
