Leica Launches New Silver Cufflink Series Priced Up to $800

Leica has introduced a new series of three silver cufflinks, expanding its foray into fashion accessories. The cufflinks come in "Camera Lens," "Dials," and "Logo" designs, all crafted from 925 Sterling Silver, measuring 17.5mm in diameter, and rhodium-plated. Each is hand-assembled and polished in Germany. The "Dials" and "Logo" versions feature Leica-inspired knurling on the edges, while the "Lens" design is smooth with a dark black interior surrounded by a silver ring bearing the Leica name. Pricing ranges from $650 for the "Logo" links to $700 for the "Dials" and $800 for the "Camera Lens" links. This marks a significant increase from Leica's 100th anniversary cufflinks released last year, which cost $260. In 2015, Leica collaborated with Russian luxury jewelry brand MARKIN.lab on a similar shutter speed dial-themed set priced at ₽65,000 (about $970 at the time), which featured functional turning dials. The new cufflinks are available starting today, with availability varying by retailer; B&H Photo lists them as "coming soon," while the Leica Store in Amsterdam already has them in stock.
