Lee Ufan's First Major Portuguese Exhibition Opens at Serralva
In Porto, the Serralves Foundation will present "Lee Ufan: Fragments of Infinity," marking the first significant exhibition in Portugal for the South Korean artist (b. 1936). This event will take place throughout October in the expansive 45-acre Serralves Park and the Art Deco Serralves Villa. The exhibition features three sculptures outdoors within the park, three more inside the villa, and a prominent new painting created specifically for the site. It delves into Ufan's fusion of natural landscapes with architectural elements, highlighting the interactions among stone, steel, and the surrounding environment.
