Lee Bul: The Anatomy of Every Setting Sun at Hauser & Wirth New York
On 10 September 2026, Hauser & Wirth will unveil 'The Anatomy of Every Setting Sun,' marking its inaugural exhibition with artist Lee Bul at the West 22nd Street gallery in New York. Dr. Jiyoon Lee will curate the show, which delves into themes of utopian modernity and technology. Highlights of the exhibition include 'Willing To Be Vulnerable—Metalized Balloon' (2015–2016/2020), fresh paintings from the 'Untitled (Willing To Be Vulnerable—Velvet)' series, and new sculptures linked to Lee's upcoming 'Long Tail Halo' commission for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2024. The exhibition will be open until 24 October 2026. Lee's work is part of prominent collections, and she has earned several accolades, including the Ruth Baumgarte Art Award in 2023.
