Led Zeppelin's 1973 NYC concert film hits Italian cinemas

The concert film 'Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains The Same' will be released in Italian cinemas for the first time on March 25, 26, and 27, 2024, as a special event distributed by Nexo Digital in collaboration with Warner Music Italy, with media partners Radio Capital and MYmovies.it. The film documents three sold-out shows by the British rock band at Madison Square Garden in New York in July 1973. Directed by Peter Clifton and Joe Massot, it includes performances of iconic songs like 'Stairway to Heaven' (featuring Jimmy Page's double-neck Gibson guitar and Robert Plant's vocals), 'Whole Lotta Love' (with theremin), and a nearly 30-minute version of 'Dazed and Confused' including a ten-minute violin bow guitar solo by Page. The film also features backstage footage and fantasy sequences depicting the 'private hallucinations' of band members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham (who died in 1980). The remastered version includes a trailer voiced by Italian radio personalities Luca De Gennaro and Mixo from Radio Capital's Capital Records.
