Leckie Studio's Twin Peaks House: Silvered Wood Clad Home in North Vancouver

Leckie Studio has finalized the Twin Peaks House, a residence spanning 3,790 square feet in North Vancouver, designed for a young family. The structure showcases a distinctive asymmetrical gabled roof and vertical cedar cladding in shades of grey, harmonizing with the surrounding trees. Comprising two offset squares topped with gabled roofs, it presents a sculptural form, partially hidden by mature evergreens. A cast-in-place concrete plinth serves as the foundation, with a concrete walkway guiding visitors to the entrance. The western section features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, while the other section contains two bedrooms. Interior elements include polished concrete flooring and oak veneers. The project was led by principal architect Michael Leckie and contractor Adisa Homes, with photography by Ema Peter.
