Lebohang Kganye wins 2024 Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize

Lebohang Kganye has been honored with the 2024 Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize for her impactful exhibition titled 'Haufi nyana? I’ve come to take you home.' The South African artist will receive a cash award of £30,000. Kganye was among notable finalists including VALIE EXPORT and Gauri Gill, who will each receive £5,000. The award has recognized various distinguished photographers in previous years, such as Samuel Fosso and Deana Lawson.
