Le Petit Pali Opens Design-Forward Boutique Hotel in Napa Valley's St. Helena

architecture-design · 2026-07-31

Le Petit Pali, the bespoke bed-and-breakfast brand under hotelier Avi Brosh's Palisociety umbrella, has opened a new outpost in St. Helena, Napa Valley. The property occupies the former Wine Country Inn & Cottages, one of the region's earliest B&Bs, and features 24 guest rooms and five standalone cottages spread across three vineyard-framed acres. Brosh aimed to fill a gap in Napa's hospitality scene, which he says lacked a design-forward, upscale bed and breakfast that is intimate, eccentric, and personal. The interiors blend English country house flair with a laid-back Californian sensibility, incorporating playful flourishes like Hermès plates, wallpapered ceilings, patterned café curtains, and brass sconces. Guest rooms feature taupe walls, plaid headboards, checkerboard tile floors, and wood furniture, while the cottages offer private patios, fireplaces, sleeping nooks, and clawfoot soaking tubs with Diptyque amenities. Amenities include a complimentary champagne breakfast with croissants from St. Helena's Model Bakery, house bicycles for exploring the Napa Valley Vine Trail, and evening chocolate chip cookies. The pool deck offers valley views, and the wine program spotlights local producers Faust, Quintessa, and Charles Krug. Brosh emphasized that the vineyards did much of the design work, allowing the setting to lead. The hotel joins other Le Petit Pali locations in Laguna Beach, Brentwood, and two in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
