Le Dictateur Opens New Milan Space with Teho Teardo Performance

exhibition · 2026-05-05

Le Dictateur, the Milanese multifaceted project founded in 2006 by Federico Pepe and Pierpaolo Ferrari, has found a permanent home at Via Piasiello 6 inside the Palazzo Liberty of FuturDome. The space, a former laboratory where artists like Masnata, Crali, and Munari experimented in the early 1940s, will feature street-facing windows. For the opening on February 9, 2017, the fifth video of the Coco Project (by Federico Pepe and Jacopo Benassi), titled Rise of the Voide, will be presented. The video was shot in the Paestum Archaeological Park and is part of an eight-video series where music is composed after the visuals. The soundtrack for this episode is by Teho Teardo, known for his score for Paolo Sorrentino's Il Divo. A live performance by Teardo will take place at the opening. The project is supported by Belvedere Vodka.
