LE BAL Explores the Photographic Pact with Wilson Collection
To celebrate the 200th anniversary of photography, LE BAL in Paris is presenting 'L'Espace entre nous : Questionner le pacte photographique,' featuring works from Michael G. Wilson's extensive private collection. A producer of James Bond films and a passionate collector since the 1960s, Wilson has gathered an impressive array of significant and rare pieces over the past fifty years. The exhibition showcases thirty-six photographers spanning from the 1920s to the present, including notable names such as André Kertész, Walker Evans, and Dorothea Lange. Rather than following a thematic or chronological order, the curation emphasizes connections and interactions between images. The display is open from June 19 to January 3, 2027, at 6 impasse de la Défense, 75018 Paris, with admission priced at €8, reduced to €6.
