Lazzaro_Art doesn't sleep projects artworks on city walls worldwide

exhibition · 2026-05-01

The second edition of Lazzaro_Art doesn't sleep has broadened its reach from Rome to include cities like New York, Bangkok, and Istanbul. Initiated by artists Claudia Pecoraro and Laura Mega, this public art projection event showcases works from over 60 global artists, many of whom created during the pandemic. Notable contributors include Baphoboy, Molly Crabapple, and Nick Walker, among others. After its inaugural showcase in Rome during lockdown in May 2020, the project emphasizes personal expression as cities reopen, with installations planned at the Kanepes Cultural Center in Latvia and on earthquake rubble in Mexico City.
