American artist Lawrence Weiner has been selected as the 2015 recipient of the Roswitha Haftmann Prize by the Roswitha Haftmann Foundation's jury. The award, which includes CHF150,000 (approximately £99,000), honors a living artist for an exceptional body of work. Weiner becomes the fifteenth artist to receive this recognition, following previous winners such as Rosemarie Trockel in 2014, Pierre Huyghe in 2013, Cindy Sherman in 2012, and Carl Andre in 2011. The prize ceremony is scheduled for 21 May 2015 at the Kunsthaus in Zürich.
