Lauren Haynes appointed director of curatorial affairs at Queens Museum

Starting in July, Lauren Haynes will assume the role of director of curatorial affairs and programs at Queens Museum, transitioning from her position as senior curator at the Nasher Museum of Art, located at Duke University. In her new capacity, she will oversee the curatorial and programs divisions and will work closely with the education team. Sally Tallant, the executive director, commended Haynes for her outstanding curatorial skills and commitment to fostering diverse artistic narratives. Haynes is enthusiastic about returning to New York, where she began her career, having also held positions at the Crystal Bridges Museum and the Studio Museum in Harlem.
