Laura Milani Appointed President of Paratissima Fair in Turin

Laura Milani has been elected as the new president of Paratissima, the Turin fair dedicated to emerging and independent artists, succeeding Lorenzo Germak, who has managed PRS – Paratissima Produzioni e Servizi since 2017. Milani, who previously served as the president of the National Cinema Museum of Turin and director of IAAD (Institute of Applied Art and Design), joined Paratissima's advisory board in May 2020 and took a sabbatical after leaving IAAD in November 2020. Her vision includes expanding Paratissima both nationally and internationally by connecting young artists with established figures. A significant exhibition titled "Untold Stories," featuring 150 large-format black-and-white photographs by the late Peter Lindbergh, is set for spring at ARTiglieria. Additionally, Paratissima will launch two sessions of its N.I.C.E. curator master's program in March and September 2021, each ending with an exhibition. Milani aims to create a multi-tiered fair that enhances services and experiences for emerging artists.
