Laura Cionci's Bogotà Diary: Vertical Forest Exhibition and Jungle Residency

On December 26, 2017, artist Laura Cionci visited Bogotá, Colombia, to work on a project related to Stefano Boeri's Bosco Verticale. The exhibition titled "Una Mirada al Bosque Vertical" debuted on February 8, 2018, at the Museo de Arquitectura Leopoldo Rother, in partnership with Universidad Javeriana, and lasted for approximately one month. It showcased Cionci's photographs from 2015, an installation by Yemail architecture studio, and videos created by The Blink Fish. Additionally, the initiative supported the World Forum on Urban Forests (WFUF) in Mantua in November 2018, which featured the "Architetture Viventi" forum. Cionci also held a workshop called "Costruire Futuri" with students, leading to an exhibition. She commenced a residency at Sextante gallery's "Residenza Territorio" on February 20, focusing on documenting local culture and biodiversity.
