Laura Cionci presents 'Stato di Grazia' at Triennale Milano

Artist Laura Cionci will present her book 'Stato di Grazia' on September 9, 2020, at 6 PM at Triennale Milano. Published by postmediabooks with Sartoria Editoriale, the book documents her journey through two cancer diagnoses (2015 and 2018) and her mystical, shamanic research alongside conventional medicine. The work evolved into a performative and ancestral artistic process leading to a state of grace. The book, written as a stream of consciousness during illness, was published before COVID-19 and is being presented for the first time in Milan. A second presentation will take place on September 23 at Le Murate in Florence, supported by Florence's culture assessor Tommaso Sacchi and artistic director Valentina Gensini. Cionci also spent months in Australia from January 2020, presenting 'State of Grace' and was stranded there until June due to the pandemic.
