Laura Blagho leaves Art Basel to join ArtFlow agency

Laura Blagho, former Global Head of Marketing & Communications at Art Basel, has resigned to join ArtFlow, a Geneva- and London-based agency that helps brands develop cultural initiatives. ArtFlow founder Katie Kennedy Perez stated that Blagho's long experience at Art Basel makes her the perfect expert to complete the agency. Blagho's departure comes as Art Basel approaches its 50th anniversary next year, which will be celebrated with a transcontinental exhibition. ArtFlow works with businesses on marketing, strategy, and communication, facilitating projects such as the Louis Vuitton bag redesigned by Takashi Murakami, Hermès' Carré Club pop-up in New York, Gucci's 2018 spring campaign with Ignasi Monreal, Calvin Klein's store installation by Sterling Ruby, and the Hugo Boss Prize at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, whose 2019 winner was Helen Cammock. Blagho, born in St. Gallen, Switzerland in 1967 and residing in Bern, holds an Executive MBA from IMD Lausanne and has over 25 years of marketing experience, including founding Blagho Consulting & Projects in 2016. She emphasized the need for brands to innovate digitally and move away from analog models.
