Latitude launches Voyage AI RPG platform with Google partnership and Roblox executive investment

Latitude has developed the Voyage platform, enabling users to craft AI-driven text-based RPGs featuring spontaneous character interactions, thanks to the World Engine created over five years. Players can build immersive worlds by outlining environments, quests, and game mechanics, while the AI handles coding. The platform supports unique choices, such as taking on the role of a "goblin therapist." Beta participants have engaged with more than 160,000 distinct AI characters. According to CEO Nick Walton, Voyage improves upon the AI Dungeon idea with reliable systems and continuity. Currently in an expanded beta phase, an open beta is anticipated later this year, with subscription options priced at $15, $30, and $50. Latitude collaborates with Google's AI Futures Fund and counts Craig Donato, Album VC, and Midjourney among its investors. Safety protocols are established for adult content.
