Langhe weekend: Ceretto and Sandretto celebrate 20 years of art patronage
This past weekend, the Langhe area of Italy commemorated two significant milestones in contemporary art. The Ceretto family celebrated two decades of art initiatives, which include the Cappella del Barolo created by Sol LeWitt and David Tremlett, alongside the exhibition 'Keeping Time' (running until October 13, 2019) at the Distilleria, a double vinyl record, and a publication by Corraini. Meanwhile, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo marked 20 years of 'Da Guarene all'Etna' with an exhibition at Palazzo Re Rebaudengo in Guarene d'Alba (open until November 10, 2019), showcasing works from 25 photographers. Additionally, a new art initiative in the Nebbiolo vineyards was launched, commissioning Paul Kneade for two sculptures, and 'Per un rinnovamento immaginista del mondo' debuted at Chiesa di San Domenico (also until November 10, 2019).
