Land Art Collection Grows Among Prosecco Hills at Parco della Filandetta

exhibition · 2026-04-27

The Bortolomiol family, a leading Prosecco Superiore producer, is expanding a land art collection at Parco della Filandetta in Valdobbiadene, Italy. The park, restored from an old silk mill by architect Wally Tomè, integrates site-specific sculptures into the UNESCO-protected Prosecco hills. Portuguese artist Inês Coelho da Silva completed a new work during a residency supported by the Female Land Artists Wanted initiative, debuting at Cantine Aperte on May 28-29, 2022. Previous resident Susken Rosenthal created Cocoon. The collection includes pieces by Giovanni Casellato, such as Gomitolo, Campo di Vento, Aerei di Francesca, and Tavolo (2020), a corten table honoring the vine. The park also hosts a winery, tasting room, and stone amphitheater. Separately, the Spazio – Visioni Integrate exhibition, curated by Sara Tortato and Alessandra Lazzarin for Arte Laguna Prize, runs until August 15 at the ex-Opificio di Villa Cedri in Valdobbiadene, transforming the 19th-century complex into a temporary gallery.
