Laercio Redondo showcases around twenty new pieces in his solo exhibition titled 'Depois do Monumento' at Galeria Silvia Cintra + Box4 in Rio de Janeiro. This exhibition is open from March 12 to April 24, 2024, with visiting hours set from 10:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday, and Saturdays available by appointment. Curated by Ana Magalhães, the display includes monotypes on ceramic plates that feature fragments of Greco-Roman statues interacting with three-dimensional forms. Collaborating with Birger Lipinski, Redondo continues his exploration of collective memory and historical omissions. The walls are adorned with marble and latex fruits, challenging conventional still-life interpretations while introducing sonic and temporal elements.
