Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation partners with Flutter immersive art experience in LA

exhibition · 2026-05-04

Flutter, an interactive art exhibition opening June 1 at South La Brea in Los Angeles, aims to merge art and happiness through a multi-sensory journey. The six-month inaugural phase features works by 15 contemporary artists, including virtual reality, ASMR, climbable furniture, a giant sphinx, and special architectural structures. Founded by Chris Dowson, Flutter seeks to make fine arts accessible to all, encouraging community and creativity. The exhibition will rotate artists every six months. Notably, Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, co-founded with her mother Cynthia Germanotta, serves as a consultant on youth engagement and mental health, co-creating events in LA. The foundation's mission aligns with Flutter's goal of fostering kindness, courage, and connection through art. Flutter joins the trend of pop-up immersive museums in the US, such as the Museum of Selfie, Ice Cream Museum, Museum of Candy, Museum of Pizza, and Color Factory.
