LACMA's David Geffen Galleries Open with Permanent Collection

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has officially opened the David Geffen Galleries, which will house its permanent collection in a fresh, iconic setting. These galleries offer a new perspective on art history, emphasizing the links between diverse cultures and eras. Current exhibitions include Lyndon J. Barrois, Sr.'s Fútbol Is Life: Animated Sportraits and Village Square: Gifts of Modern Art from the Pearlman Collection. Noteworthy works on display also feature SUEÑO PERRO by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Collecting Impressionism, and Ai Weiwei's Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads. Plus, the museum hosts events like Boone Children's Gallery and Jazz at LACMA with the Lao Tizer Band. Hours are Monday and Tuesday from 11 am to 6 pm, closed Wednesday, Thursday from 11 am to 6 pm, Friday from 11 am to 8 pm, and weekends from 10 am to 7 pm.
