Laboratorio Saccardi's 'Destudio' Transforms Studio into Exhibition at Spaziocentotre

The exhibition 'Neovernacolare. Laboratorio Saccardi' at Spaziocentotre in Palermo presents a literal relocation of the artists' studio into the gallery space. The show, running from February 18 to March 16, 2019, with an invitation-only opening on February 16, features works that reflect on the studio as both a physical and mental space. The Laboratorio Saccardi collective employs an ironic and irreverent approach to art history, colliding references from Morandi, de Chirico, Fontana, Manzoni, Modigliani, Pollock, Monet, van Gogh, Trombadori, Schifano, Boetti, and others.
