Labirinto: Three Italian Street Artists Take Over Lucca
The Italian city of Lucca hosts a diffuse exhibition titled 'Labirinto,' curated by Gian Guido Grassi, featuring three internationally renowned street artists: Moneyless, Sten&Lex, and Tellas. The exhibition, which began in May 2023 at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, expanded in June to occupy public spaces including underground city walls, ancient gates, church niches, and historic palaces. The artists, all Italian, undertook a residency to engage with Lucca's historical identity and explore the labyrinth theme. The show aims to reconnect the city center with its peripheries and open normally closed sites, such as the recently restored Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Servi, which hosts a group show until October 15, 2023. Sten&Lex have recently been added to the Collezione Farnesina of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
