La Vigilia Winery by González Olsina & Vega Arquitectos in Los Chacayes, Argentina

architecture-design · 2026-08-08

La Vigilia Winery, designed by González Olsina & Vega Arquitectos, was completed in 2022 in Los Chacayes, Argentina. The 1,700 m² warehouse project is led by architects Charly González Olsina and Eduardo Vega, with a team including Cecilia Blanco, Nicolás Telechea, and Bianca Brescia. Landscape architecture was handled by Eduardo Vera, project management by Integra CPM, and general construction by GR Housing. The design emphasizes a calibrated relationship between volumes, using material, light, and shadow to transition from the vast landscape to the interior, giving the winemaking process a precise and transcendental dimension. Photographs by Luis Abba document the project. Manufacturers include ASPEN Lumiere, Arquimetal, FV, Grupo Forestal, Hipercerámico, Hiperpiedras, Mendoglass, and Puromármol. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz and published on ArchDaily.
