La Vaccheria: Rome's New Museum Opens with Andy Warhol Exhibition

After a decade of development and an investment exceeding €3 million, La Vaccheria has officially opened in Rome, situated in a refurbished farmstead within EUR Castellaccio. This renovation was part of an urban initiative for Pratone delle Valli and Parco Volusia. The opening exhibition, titled "Flesh: Andy Warhol & The Cow," presents over 80 pieces from the Rosini Gutman Collection, curated by Gianfranco Rosini, featuring iconic works like those of Liza Minnelli and Marilyn Monroe, available for free until October 30. Additionally, a complementary exhibition, "Sacro o Profano…?," showcases creations from sixteen artists, including Angela Caronna and Yuliya Hramyka. The venue also houses archaeological artifacts, a bookstore, and various workshops. Mayor Roberto Gualtieri and Councillor Miguel Gotor highlighted its cultural importance.
