La Terraza Magnética 2026 closes with Martine Syms, Adrasha, Robert Rodríguez
La Terraza Magnética, the summer film and music series at La Casa Encendida in Madrid, concludes its 2026 edition from July 30 to August 1 with three final events. On July 30, Casa San Cristóbal screens Robert Rodríguez's 1996 cult film 'Abierto hasta el amanecer' (From Dusk Till Dawn), written by Quentin Tarantino. July 31 features Martine Syms's feature debut 'The African Desperate' (2022), a comedic critique of contemporary art dynamics following a recent MFA graduate. On August 1, Ethiopian-born Barcelona-based sound artist and performer Adrasha (Misiker) presents a live set blending East African club music with experimental electronics. The series, titled 'Cartografías de la noche,' ran from June 26 to August 1, exploring night as a space of transformation through outdoor screenings and concerts. Other participants included Bint Mbareh, Ava Rasti, Violeta García, RenzNiro, and Amanda Mur.
