La Plasticité du Langage: Between Languages at Fondation Hippocrène

The second act of the exhibition "La Plasticité du Langage," titled "Entre les langues," is on view at Fondation Hippocrène in Paris until December 16, 2012. Curated by Jeanette Zwingenberger, the show explores linguistic plurality and cross-cultural understanding through an architectural and graphic approach to language. It features works by artists such as Jorinde Voigt, Vittorio Santoro, Sophie Calle, Mounir Fatmi, Max Wechsler, and Elsa Mazeau. Fatmi's sculpture interrogates cultural codes and socio-political mechanisms, while Mazeau's photographs capture Britons in Dordogne speaking Occitan. The exhibition is presented as a constructed grammar, inviting viewers to build their own universe. The first act, "Entre les mots," was held at the same venue from September 6 to October 6, 2012.
