La Grande Motte hosts second edition of Les Puces du Design with beach collection by 5.5 designers
From June 29 to July 2, La Grande Motte, a French coastal destination designated as a 'heritage of the 20th century' by the Ministry of Culture in 2010, will host the second edition of Les Puces du Design. The beach furniture collection, designed by the artistic directors from 5.5 designers (Vincent Baranger, Jean-Sébastien Blanc, Anthony Lebossé, and Claire Renard), draws inspiration from the town's unique architecture. Established in the late 1960s by architect Jean Balladur, the resort showcases innovative designs influenced by pre-Columbian temples and Le Corbusier. Featured in the 'Design à la plage' exhibition are items like 'Pyramides de plage' tent-umbrellas, 'Serviettes Le Provence' towels, an Acapulco chair, and a Poséidon mat.
