La Città Incantata Festival Returns to Civita di Bagnoregio with Street Art and Comics

After a remote edition last year, the La Città Incantata festival returns in person to Civita di Bagnoregio, the frazione in Viterbo province known as 'the dying city' by writer Bonaventura Tecchi. The seventh edition, running over several days, features comic artists, illustrators, street artists, and animation talents who will create murals on the theme of hospitality. Opening the program are Sara Pichelli, Martoz, and LRNZ, who will paint vertical murals. Subsequent days include an exhibition by Mauro Biani curated by Riccardo Corbò, masterclasses by Pichelli and Luca Raffaelli, a meeting between Lelio Bonaccorsi and Annalisa Camilli on migration, a screening of Alessandro Rak's film Yaya e Lennie, a music night dedicated to Lucio Dalla, and a theater monologue by Valerio Aprea written by Mattia Torre. Regional president Nicola Zingaretti, who conceived the festival in 2015, stated that the meeting has become a consolidated national and international event. The festival is realized by Progetto ABC Arte Bellezza Cultura coordinated by Giovanna Pugliese in collaboration with Lazio Crea, ATCL, and Casa Civita. Past participants include Altan, Zerocalcare, Sergio Staino, Gipi, Zuzu, and Ale Giorgini.
