L.U.P.O. Gallery Opens in Milan with Francesco Snote Solo Show

exhibition · 2026-04-27

On September 14, 2021, L.U.P.O. (Lorenzelli Upcoming Projects) opened at Corso Buenos Aires 2 in Milan's Porta Venezia district, a new gallery dedicated to young Italian artists. Founded by Massimiliano Lorenzelli (b. 1995), fourth generation of the Lorenzelli gallerist family, the space occupies a long-vacant locale in the same building as Lorenzelli Arte. Co-director Pier Francesco Petracchi and gallery manager Federico Brayda-Bruno support the project. The inaugural exhibition, "Sulle colazioni e sulle imboscate" by Francesco Snote (b. 1991, Biella), runs through October 31, 2021, featuring sculptures and 11 works on paper that depict "psychomagic visions of a Milan 2021" centered on the character Lazzaro. The gallery is open Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00–18:00.
