Kwan Sheung Chi Receives Inaugural Hugo Boss Asia Art Award
Kwan Sheung Chi, a Hong Kong-born artist, has been named the recipient of the first Hugo Boss Asia Art Award. This new prize was established to acknowledge outstanding contributions to contemporary art across Asia. An exhibition featuring Kwan Sheung Chi's work, along with pieces by the six other finalists, is currently on view at Rockbund Art Museum. The show includes artists BIRDHEAD, Hsu Chia Wei, Hu Xiangqian, Lee Kit, Li Liao, and Li Wei. The exhibition will remain open until December 8, 2013. Kwan Sheung Chi has previously contributed as a photographer for ArtReview Asia's first issue and for the publication's Power 100 portrait sessions.
