Kunstsammlung NRW invites children to interactive 'Playground' exhibition

The Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen at K20 in Düsseldorf has opened 'Playground,' an interactive exhibition by artist Sonia Kazovsky. Created specifically for K20's largest hall, the installation transforms the space into a dreamlike landscape where children can touch, climb, roll down a desert hill, gather around a campfire, swing on a streetlamp, and use props and costumes to slip into different roles. The exhibition aims to attract a younger, diverse audience and spark curiosity about modern and contemporary art. It is part of the museum's broader effort under director Susanne Gaensheimer to open its buildings, programs, and collection to new publics.
