Kronos and Kairos: Contemporary Art Meets Archaeology at the Palatine

The exhibition 'Kronos e Kairos. I tempi dell’arte contemporanea' is currently being held at the Parco archeologico del Colosseo in Rome, showcasing the work of 15 contemporary artists under the curation of Lorenzo Benedetti. This event, which runs from July 19 to November 3, is organized by Electa and supported by the Direzione Generale Arte e Architettura contemporanee e Periferie urbane. Featured artists include Nina Beier, Catherine Biocca, and Jimmie Durham, among others. The exhibition delves into the nature of time, examining it both chronologically and qualitatively. Additionally, a cultural mediation project led by Antonella Muzi will take place from July 19 to 21 and September 1 to November 3, engaging Università La Sapienza di Roma students with visitors. This follows the recent opening of the Domus of Nero and the exhibition 'Da Duchamp a Cattelan.'
