Kripanilay Farmhouse by HabitArt Architecture Studio in Shoolagiri

architecture-design · 2026-04-30

In Shoolagiri, India, HabitArt Architecture Studio completed the Kripanilay farmhouse in 2025, designed to withstand extreme heat up to 45°C. The 2600 ft² residence sits within the Sanctity Ferme farm community, responding to the hot, dry climate through passive design strategies. Lead architect Aditya Venkat prioritized heat, light, and air as primary determinants, avoiding conventional applied architecture. The project involved contractor Arjun Constructions - Ramana Reddy, electrical consultant Skyline Electro, and structural engineer Anvika Structures. Materials include Kota flooring, Hindware fixtures, and Deccano Casements. The design team included Rochana R (associate), Thejas KS (design), and Aditya Venkat (coordination).
