Kouros Gallery Hosts Summer Group Exhibition

exhibition · 2026-04-24

From August 6 to 22, 2003, Kouros Gallery in New York will host a summer group exhibition showcasing smaller artworks while blurring traditional categories, a hallmark of end-of-season displays. Following this, the exhibition will move to the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center in Auburn, NY, scheduled for May to June 2004. Watercolor, once regarded as a minor medium, has seen a rise in recognition. In 2001, a survey featuring 22 abstract painters who utilized watercolor was curated by Pamela Auchincloss and Melissa Meyer. The gallery's address is 23 East 73 Street, New York, NY 10021.
