Kounellis and Boetti Lead Blindarte Auction in Milan
Blindarte held its Modern and Contemporary Art auction in Milan on November 30, featuring 170 lots. The top lot was an untitled 1961 work by Jannis Kounellis, estimated at €90,000–140,000, which sold for €167,500. Alighiero Boetti's 'Simmetrie speculari' tapestry achieved €87,500 against a €50,000–70,000 estimate. A small Boetti work dedicated to gallerist Pio Monti sold for €5,750 (estimate €2,500–3,000). Other notable results: Norbert Bisky's 'Judith' (2005) at €81,250, A.R.
