KORA Opens Living Archive in Grecìa Salentina
On May 30, 2026, the KORA – Centro del Contemporaneo in Castrignano de' Greci will unveil QUI.Kora, marking the inaugural exhibition of the Museo Pubblico del Contemporaneo, founded in 2022. Drawing inspiration from Richard McGuire's graphic novel Here, the exhibition embraces unexpected juxtapositions rather than a chronological narrative, echoing Jean-Luc Godard's belief that storytelling need not be linear. QUI.Kora acts as a dynamic archive, featuring works from artist residencies and community collaborations that explore themes related to cultural peripheries and contemporary Souths. Among the artists showcased are Benni Bosetto and Giuseppe De Mattia. The opening is scheduled for 7 PM, with visiting hours from Tuesday to Friday, 10 AM–6 PM, and weekends, 7 PM–11 PM.
