Koosah Vineyard: Oregon's Premier Chardonnay Site
Koosah Vineyard, situated in Oregon's Eola-Amity Hills, is celebrated as the top Chardonnay vineyard in the AVA and possibly in the entire U.S. Owned by Résonance Wines, part of Maison Louis Jadot, it supplies grapes to notable producers like Walter Scott, Martin Woods, 00, and Morgen Long. The 2022 Résonance Koosah Chardonnay sold out right away to club members, and the 2023 vintage flew off the shelves at restaurants and retailers during the Louis Jadot barrel tour. Winemaker Guillaume Large teams up with operations director Thibault Gagey. Established in 2016, it spans 26 acres of Chardonnay and 18 acres of Pinot Noir, with an elevation of 1,100 feet that benefits from ocean breezes and rich basalt soil.
