Koehnline Museum Showcases Women Sculptors from Modernist Era

The Koehnline Museum in Des Plaines, Illinois, presented an exhibition from December 14, 2006 to January 26, 2007, highlighting women sculptors who were marginalized during the Modernist era. The show featured Louise Bourgeois and Ruth Duckworth, both of whom began their careers before the Feminist movement of the 1970s brought greater recognition to female artists.
